The post wedding informal breaky was here and I didn't hear any complaints about any of the food. Quite a range and reasonably priced. Orders came out in good time.
They do functions and catering also. Open 7am-3pm Sun-Wed and until late Thurs, Fri, Sat.
Favorite Dish: I had the pancakes.

The CBD restaurant is part of the Rydges Hotel - I probably enjoyed my time in here better than in the hotel itself! You can't see the restaurant from the road so look for the sign out front of the hotel.
There is a wide choice of a-la-carte dishes and all of my meals were good.
It's open 7 days and was surprisingly quiet on the three nights I ate there.
There's a nice lounge area and a barbecue area on the pool terrace.

A quirky, friendly establishment, and it caters for kids with a large playroom.
The sign on the window is great: "The way to a person's heart is through the door of a good restaurant - and this is one." Love it!
A very friendly place, everyone was relaxed and casual and the food was fantastic.
It's also BYO so you drink your own wine and keep the cost down.
Bookings are recommended.
Favorite Dish: I couldn't go past the oysters but also loved the beef.

This was a great stop on my initial tour of Gladstone and I found myself here almost every day of my stay.
The cafe is located at the highest point in Gladstone in the park overlooking the town, the harbour and where you have views to the hinterland and marina and the port itself - and the smelter and the coal loading dock...the views go on.
There is a small park and a track to wander not far from the cafe. Snacks were good, coffee was very good with lovely views from the rooftop area.
