Loved the atmosphere, comfortable seating and the service.
Then the food came and I enjoyed the place even more, so much so that we booked in the following night.
Favorite Dish: Probably our favourite tapas dish was the orange lamb; I only wish I'd had more of it.
The squid we had was cooked to perfection and the pork got the thumbs up. Mushrooms were also a delight.
This is a very popular seafood eatery in Broadbeach. We were lucky to get in before 6pm as there is a 40% discount on food ordered between 5 and 6.
The food was excellent, and the service was pretty good as well.
Favorite Dish: The seafood platter was great, with oysters, scallop, prawns, squid, crab amongst others.
Now when my friend said to me lets go to Ribs & Rumps, i umed about it as i never really eat rips or rumps, as i dont buy much meat outside of home, just not much of a meat eater really.
But when i finally decided to say yes to my friend to go, i tell you i cant believe the food there, it was AMAZING.
The food is a little pricey but the serving sizes are amazing. The ambiance and surroundings are hip and new and very modern. A very popular restaurant.

Favorite Dish: I have only been 2 times to the restaurant, but the food is outstanding.
Both times i had the the 1/2 chicken and ribs, for the ribs you can choose from either pork, beef or lamb ribs.
Its all about the secret sauce they cover all the food in, its like a having the KFC chicken coating secret recipe, but this sauce is like a BBQ sauce, but its better then normal BBQ sauce.
I know you are thinking it, so don't even ask.. no! This place is not a cafe! It is sooo much more.
Looks are deceiving when it comes to this quiet little restaurant neatly placed along the old Nerang Street Mall. But as we all know one should never judge a book by its cover. With only two or three other restaurants around, the location of Cafemio is relaxingly peaceful and calm and is away from all the hustle and bustle of the main Gold Coast areas.
Cafemio was only established in the late of 2006 and may this place stay forever. I cannot even begin to describe to just how amazing this place is. There aren't many really fantastic restaurants on the Gold Coast, however Cafemio is certainly at the top of my list. And best of all not many people know about it (well, until now).
If you really want to make the most of this restaurant, I recommend coming here on a warm day or night as most of the seating is located undercover outside (however a few tables are available inside).

Favorite Dish: Cafemio's menu is everchanging from week to week depending on what the freshest produce is available. This also applies to the cuisine. You can expect everything from seafood dishes to modern asian to european and it is certain that you will most always find a decent steak on the menu.
With only a handful of entrees, mains and desserts to choose from, you can rest assured that whatever you order will be the best of quality and, oh, so mouth watering.
Do not dare to even dine at this little gem if you aren't going to even try at least one of the desserts..they are so so delicous.
High up in Lamington National Park at O'Reilly's Guesthouse you can enjoy a meal with drinks with fabulous views over the valley at the Mountain Cafe and Gifts.

They offer a delicious menu of homestyle meals with drinks and there is also a takeaway section for quick snacks.
Once you order your meal at the counter you are given a pager which sends you an alert when your order is ready to be collected.
Favorite Dish: I enjoyed turkey and bacon on toasted focaccia (AU$7.50) with a long strong black coffee (AU$3.00).
At least take a chair on the big outside balcony with a hot coffee or glass of wine and gaze at the magnificent views!
The Arts Cafe is located at the Gold Coast Arts Centre which is one of Australia's largest regional arts and entertainment complexes with a gallery, theatre, cinema, restaurant, cafe, function and community rooms, so there are plenty of reasons to visit. Either before or after your show/visit to the complex, you can have a bite to eat at the Arts Cafe.
The ambience is casual, with a nice alfresco dining area. The food is very well priced and we all enjoyed our lunch there.
The menu choices are mostly light, lunch type food, with quite a good choice. Some examples of the menu are;
Satay Chicken Pizza topped with onion, capsicum, cheese & sour cream ($12.50)
Baked Ricotta & Roast Pumpkin Salad - snow peas, rocket, red bell peppers, bean sprouts, sliced scallions & chopped peanuts in a sesame garlic dressing ($12.50)

A Texan style steakhouse with a wonderful country atmosphere. This is one of our favourite places to go out for dinner and for special occasions. We get the ribs almost every time, but the steaks are also very appetizing. You can't book ahead at this restaurant, just show up and wait for a table (which usually doesn't take too long).
Favorite Dish: My favorite dish is the Baby Back Ribs. A full rack of Lone Star’s tender ribs basted with BBQ sauce, my mouths watering thinking about it!
The Main Beach Bakery is right on the waterfront across the road from the beach in Coolangatta. Here you can buy freshly made cakes with a hot perculated coffee.
They also make fresh lunches to order with a good choice of breads or rolls with crisp salads and various cold meats.
MMMMmmmmmm Cold Rock Ice Cream is the place you CAN NOT miss. The beautiful flavours and mixtures are soooooooooooo good.

But see the thing about Cold Rock that makes it so good is the fact is that you have mix in's. Now your more then likely thinking what is mix in's, well what you do is you choose you ice cream flavour, once you have chosen your flavour they bring it over to a bench which is kept cold and you choose stuff to mix into the ice cream, like maybe some nuts, cookie dough, smarties, nerds etc etc and it gets all mixed together.
Sometimes you can make a strawberry cheesecake flavour by getting cheesecake flavoured ice cream then adding real strawberries to the ice cream.

Moo Moos specialty is steaks. It is located in town without much of a view. The outdoor bar opens well before the restaurant.
Favorite Dish: We booked this restaurant a year in advance for the sole reason of eating a Master Kobe steak. Service was slow, but the food was good. The steak was the best I’ve ever eaten. It was perfectly marbled. I approved the steak before it was cooked to medium. The outside was a little charred. The inside was completely tender and fell apart in the mouth . . . succulent and juicy. However, it was only worth the $120 price tag as a once in a lifetime experience.
One of the best places for seafood on the Gold Coast! They have the freshest tasting fish which is then used in so many creative ways! One of my favourite entrees is the Salt & Pepper Calamari and my favourite main meal is the Snapper!! It's so good!
Other then the food, they have a good wine selection and all the staff are super friendly!

The Yatala Pie shop is a very popular, well known Bakery, thats sell great Pies and Pastries.
It has been a stopping point for traveller's heading to and from the Gold coast for years, and probably has become a family tradition.
The Bakery has a fairly large selection of both savoury and sweet pies, the prices are reasonable, and the pies an extra good size.
It has a nice Balcony where you can sit and eat, plastic knives & forks, serviettes, and all types of sauces are supplied.
This is probably the only pie shop that you will find has a "drive through" just like "Macca's" so you don't have to get out of your air conditioned car if you so wish!
It is very popular at any time, but on weekends, expect queues!

The menu has a very wide choice of meals to suit most at a reasonable price.

Fusion Bowl as the title suggests is a meeting of several S/E Asian culinary delights.
What I like about this restaurant is that it gives you the opportunity to sample meals from several different countries at the one time.
