Montezumas, Gold Coast

There are quite a few places I enjoy eating at, such as: Montezuma's (Mexican), Frenchy's (Seafood), Captain's Table (Seafood), Bavarian Haus (German), Grumpy's Wharf (Seafood), Oscar's (A La Carte)...
Each place has its own unique atmosphere, be it situated in a marina, overlooking the Pacific, German live music and dancing, tropical oasis setting or an Aztec-Mexican look.

Favorite Dish: I tend to eat a LOT of seafood while there, but some of the dishes that stand out are: malibu flambe lobster, coconut king prawns, mango prawns, chihuahua mexican assortment, seafood baskets, apple strudel...

Favorite Dish: 'Licensed Mexican Restaurant Where the Locals Meet to Eat'.

A great place to relax and meet with friends and get to know the local vibe. The prices are really good and meals aren't on the lean side.

Drinks are cheap and there is much relaxed laughter in this warm and friendly place.

Its a Mexican restuarant with decore which umm...is overdone though you somehow don't notice it. Its a dark room with candles and stuffed animals, rugs and totem poles coming out of the woodwork.

Favorite Dish: Though mexican I don't go for the nachos and taco stuff, I always (and I'm not kidding when I say always - I've never bought anything else) had Monty's Delight. YUM. A huge meal of frgioles on a soft tortilla, covered with a salad of cabbage, apple, radish, umm. heaps of stuff and chicken or beef - your call. Then sour cream and olives. Devine. It feeds 2 and at only $11 it leaves you money to buy a jug (1 litre) of their famous sangria!!!! YUM. They won't tell you their secret recipe though after a few jugs each......you are certain of what is in it...yummy stuff that makes you smile ALOT!

Excellent atmosphere, great staff, fantastic food.

Favorite Dish: Combination #7 - Beef Enchilada, Beef Taco, Chili Con Carne. Eat this, and you won't want to eat anything else for 24 hours.
