The Whitsunday Islands are a paradise to be explored, islands and coral reefs abound, the waters have a tremendous variety of fish and their colour will amaze you. The waters are a snorklers paradise just waiting for you. Many people like to do their own thing, to give the charter boats a miss and you can easily do this , just hire the boat that suits you. One Tree Hill is one of the highest points on the island which is easily reached by road, you can drive your cart there in 5 minutes or catch the free island bus. For those who are fit and like to hike you can walk there in 30 minutes.
The bar opens at 4:30pm for "Sunset Cocktails" and the afternoon we went about 50 people turned up. It was a great gathering with many groups bringing snacks to enjoy with their drinks. As this is a totally outdoors event you can easily bring your own beer etc should you wish, and do not forget to wear a hat as the sun can still be fierce. We were there for an 90 minutes and had a great time enjoying the brilliant sunset. Leave a Comment

If you are staying in the Reef View towers you will probably scoff, as you have this view from your balcony...but, if like us you had views much closer to the ground, then it is worth a lookie! Leave a Comment
