This interesting little shop caught my eye as I walked down Victoria street. There are lots of good gift ideas as well and knick knacks and decorative items for around the home.
What to buy: Vases, candles, photo frames etc.

Another down town view of the City Heart. I recommend a cup of coffee at one of the alfresco cafes. Sit on the side walk and do a spot of 'people watching'. Then you can get up and shop some more.
What to buy: Clothes, jewellry, crafts etc.

The Mackay City Heart is the down town shopping area. It has been kept alive by careful planning and landscaping. The tropical atmosphere makes for a pleasant stroll around the many shops and arcades. Casual outdoor alfresco dining can also be enjoyed. Some of the buildings are brightly painted while others display a more heritage look. The Sunday Markets are held every second Sunday. Roads are closed off and there is live music and horse drawn carriage rides etc. as well as lots of craft and food stalls.
What to buy: Clothing boutiques, jewellery stores, shoe shops, pubs, gift shops, cafes..........just browse around and you'll find lots of interesting stores. Pictures coming soon.
What to pay: What ever you choose to spend.
