Beautiful seafood and a most stunning view...what more could you want. It is not budget dining but not overly expensive for the wonderful food.
Favorite Dish: I loved the chowder almost too much on my first visit as I then continued with the signature platter....well the food was divine and with most generous servings...so keep that in mind. By the time we weaved our way down the Range back to Palmwoods well.....the next time I was more careful.
Not far from the Information Centre.....if you are at MaryCairncross Park you have gone too far. and if you come from Montville do not head into Maleny proper.
OPEN 6 DAYS A WEEK

Just as you drive into Maleny proper this little eating place is sort of on the corner. It is just opposite a park, playground , and the local library (if you turn the corner).
Parking is not a problem either.
You can look out to some pleasant views...still a bit of green countryside around Maleny!.
Favorite Dish: Well though the cafe sells local food our favourite dish would have to be the Cornish Pasties. David has Cornwall links so it is a bit of nostalgia. And they taste nice as well. You cannot buy Cornish pasties just anywhere either.
Price is always difficult as things change...but it will not break you.
The coffee is good too.

Now on Sundays from lunch time into the afternoon you can enjoy a steak , listen to some Irish music ,and enjoy the magnificent view. (Then you drive into Maleny and pick up the music at Finbars. after 4.30 pm..see my other review!)
For a great Irish experience plus top quality steaks and drinks, Patricks Irish Steakhouse is a must .
And you will love the drive along the range...just beautiful. You can continue on then...past the Tranquil Park sign and come into Maleny the back way. It is clearly signed.
(Tranquil Park is a mountain resort)
Favorite Dish: Well it has to be steak...what else...Steak with a view.
I do not like putting prices in a review as they are subject to change.

This shop is a Deli of sorts. But, they serve coffee etc as well. Their Ice Cream is wonderful along with their Gelati.
But for me the main attraction is their fromagerie - You just dont see cheese sold like this usually - unfortunatly.
