The Mapleton Falls Lookout is easily accessed even by wheelchairs. From here you can get a gret view of the falls and out over the lush Obi Obi valley. The falls are formed when the waters of Pencil Creek fall 120m into the valley. There is also a walk through the rainforest.Tracks to the bottom of the falls are dangerous and are often closed.

So you are travelling around and need supplies for your camp out? Fancy some real live food?....some green tea.....

Well I was surprised and delighted to find home made butter available on my most recent trip to Mapleton, Queensland, Sunshine Coast Hinterland. And not only butter but there are a range of products available from Obi Obi Essentials....all from the family farm....

We discovered the butter for sale while enjoying a coffee and a home made scone....date, and even more ingredients... at the local cafe and then heard about the farm where good things grow...down in the Obi Obi Valley.
