Be careful of putting your head and hands in the wooden stocks that are in the village green.
They are so small that I found it difficult to raise my head for a photo shoot.
It was very uncomfortable,I needed to bend over more than I wanted to and I am under 5ft tall.I felt that it could possibly cause injuries/problems for people who may not be flexible.
The village green is next door to City hall and Kent street Maryborough.

    Flood..

Maryborough has been known to have the occasional flood when there is a good downpour. These photos ( from the web ) show the 1999 flood.
It would be a good idea to check on this if you are planning to visit.

    Floods..

Not entirely certain if this was the flood that caused us to miss the Shania Twain Concert when she came to Brisbane.
There was no way to get down there for the concert. Other than fly, but flights were all booked out also...

    Flood

The water was quite deep in certain parts of the city... but this is not new to this region, as there has been several floods here since I moved to Queensland.. some 15 years ago.
