There are many places for a picnic around Montville - usually in or near the forest. Be wary of your food as there are a number of local animals or birds that think it's theirs for the taking. Montville to Palmwoods and on to Maroocydore...SUNSHINE COAST
You need to find Hunchy Road via The Razorback for the quickest way back to the Coast from Montville since the main road is still blocked by a landside....is it 2 years now?
ALERTTHE ROAD IS OPEN AGAIN....August 2013
And you might be forgiven for thinking the locals don't want a lot of traffic turning across the middle of the main street of Montville....it is easy to miss
So look at the photo and become familiar with the almost obscured sign post....become familiar with the entry to the Razorback and Hunchy Road which passes under a darkish overbridge.
Oh do not be concerned the Razorback road is in good condition now.
