    There are many places for a picnic around Montville - usually in or near the forest. Be wary of your food as there are a number of local animals or birds that think it's theirs for the taking. Kookaburras love hot dogs - especially the sausage; but they will even eat the bun!Goanna lizards may not seem fast but give them a chance and they will go...

    Montville to Palmwoods and on to Maroocydore...SUNSHINE COAST

    You need to find Hunchy Road via The Razorback for the quickest way back to the Coast from Montville since the main road is still blocked by a it 2 years now?


    And you might be forgiven for thinking the locals don't want a lot of traffic turning across the middle of the main street of is easy to miss

    So look at the photo and become familiar with the almost obscured sign post....become familiar with the entry to the Razorback and Hunchy Road which passes under a darkish overbridge.

    Oh do not be concerned the Razorback road is in good condition now.

    Favorite thing: When visiting Montville, its probably a great idea to visit the Montville Information Centre.
    You cant miss it.Its in the main street, overlooking the beautiful valley.
    It can tell you all the dos and donts of visiting Montville.
    It is run by volunteers, that really know their hometown.
    They can give advice on accomodation
    They can answer all your general questions.
    They can tell you where to go and what to do.
    And this is the place to pick up your maps and brochures.
    Its a good idea to visit here first!!!
