Favorite thing: What I especially liked in Noosa National Park- apart from the rugged landscape and the great beaches - were the plants. There were a lot of beautiful and interesting wildflowers in bright colours, and also a lot of trees. Some trees looked very bizarre as the coastal winds had given them strange shapes. The vegetation is very extraordinary and that is what made this place really special to me, and what makes it still cling to my memory very much.
You can see pictures of flowers attached to this tip (unfortunately, two again messed up by VT), and pictures of trees and landscape in the travelogues.

Favorite thing: Always leave something for the next visit! These are the things I didn't do in Noosa so far and that I want to do when going back:
Noosa Everglades - I missed the so-called "Noosa Everglades" that consist of several lakes and a part of the Great Sandy National Park. There are boat and kayak tours and a friend of mine loved it!
Lagoona Lookout - to have a view of the town and Noosa National Park
Noosa Northshore Backpackers - my friend also recommended this hostel which seems to be a haven for animal lovers, as wallabies and kangaroos visit its lawns every day!

Favorite thing: We loved going to Noosa on holidays when I was growing up in Brissy. Our favourite places were Tewantin, Mooloolabah, Coolim and Tin Can Bay. Here is a map of the area that might help in your holiday plans.

Favorite thing: The main street in Noosa is called Hastings Street...this is where you will find most of the shops, restaurants and cafes...and a lot of tourists... ;)
The beach is right beside Hastings Street so you can easily wander up for a cool drink or icecream while spending the day at the beach.

Favorite thing: Tea Tree Bay is a little swimming beach in the National Park... It is probably less common than the main beach but it looked much nicer...
There are public toilets and drinking water available at Tea Tree Bay.

Favorite thing: We went for a 2.5 hour hike around the Noosa National Park...it was a great walk!
We did the "Coastal Track", a distance of 5.4 kms return (we stopped for a lot of photos) and it's graded "easy". There are many other walks you can also do though.
The Noosa National Parkhas a picnic area with BBQ's, drinking water, car parking and public toilet facilities.
