Getting to Noosa from around Australia is quite easy.
From Brisbane, it's a 2 hour drive north approximately.
From Sydney/Melbourne/Adelaide/etc, it's easier to fly into Maroochydore Airport. From there, it's about an hour north. You may either hire a car, go by taxi or get a shuttle bus.
If you cannot get a flight into Maroochydore, you can fly into Brisbane International Airport and the bext way would be to hire a car from there or get a shuttle bus. Expect about a 2 hour trip.

Suncoast Pacific offers the cheapest fare between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast. You can get a return ticket for AUD18. Internet booking is available.
There were less than 10 people on the coach to Noosa Heads and 20 on the way back. It's a comfy ride.
