This restaurant is just next to the pool area at Spa Island (the pool complex which sits on its own little island connected to the rainforest and reception area by boadwalks over the lagoon.).
The menu was your cafe style food such as pizzas, burgers, salads, wedges etc and compared to the other restaurants, was lower priced.
For restaurants in Australia though it still is in the expensive bracket but then again it is a tourist resort so that is to be expected to some extent.

This restaurant is in the main recpetion area at the front of the resort with views out through the marina and twoards the Broadwater.
A very classy restaurant serving modern Australian cuisine using fresh ingredients such as seafood.
We didn't eat there ourselves but had a look at the menu which looked superb.
Be prepared for the bill though - but I guess you have to pay for quality.

Couran cove in south straddie is so unique. No cars are allowed and free bikes are provided to get around. The restaurants are excellent and luxury facilities are abundant. Plenty of wildlife too...
