If you are in Townsville and feel lkike a really tasty treat, give Osmans a try. They are really busy in the evenings, so you will probably need to book a few days in advance or plan a late dinner, but it is worth it!
If you are planning a romantic dinner, book early for the little tables they have at the side of the place, you sit up high, it's very pretty. Try this place, you wont regret it
Favorite Dish: I love the chicken cooked in wine and garlic with potatoes. It was so good the first time, i went back to see if i'd imagined it and it was still fantastic. My other half loves the seafood skewers and the taziki and baba ganoush is to die for.

The restaurant is very casual with the menu written in chalk on a blackboard. The food was good and not too expensive for lunchtime.
Favorite Dish: Get a Slug burger on Magnetic Island! The island's not big, it won't be hard to find the restaurant. Any burger that includes Tabasco sauce should not be missed! Then go find the Koalas.

The only restaurant in Townsville that is situated entirely over the water, the restaurant is spacious and with its own floor to ceiling windows offers superb views of the city, harbour and marina by day or night.
Although the restaurant specialises in local seafood, the menu offers a variety of steak, chicken, pasta and light dishes as well as mouthwatering desserts. The Restaurant is the perfect place for lunch as it caters specially for the lighter appetite as well as for the hearty appetite.
Favorite Dish: Reef Special (prawns, bugs, oysters, calamari),
