To Dine with the Locals
Favorite thing: So after seeing the mush served for a meal at the local RSL I did a bit of sussing out with a friend who lives in the Warwick area.
So here are the suggestions as at July 2013:
Horse and Jockey Hotel/Motel....serve pretty good basic meals (we stayed there and we by passed it for the club!...not my fault)
Joi de Vive.... 41 King Street, Warwick, Queensland
07-46671907 ....0409054939! Said to be a mixture of cafe, art gallery, restaurant...so good they do not need to advertise...next time!

UNIQUE CRAFT STALL
Favorite thing: This stall at the Warwick craft markets was a favorite of mine.
The stall sold all types of garden ornaments made from steel. I was talking to the producer of these ornaments, and he said he had to buy new steel as he run out of the scrap. This is why the prices are higher.
The work is so cleverly done! There are Kangaroos, Emus, Crocodiles, Echidnas, Frilled neck lizards, Kookaburras and a lot more.
Even though most are in the hundreds of dollars, he said he still sells quite a few. There certainly was a big interest in his stall.
He is also at the Jimboomba Markets that are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month, excluding the month of January.
