Rundle Mall: Rundle Mall
There are three major department stores, 15 arcades and more than 800 retailers, of which 160 are speciality fashion stores in the buildings which line the converted street.
The mall is noted for its tree-lined walkways and scuptures, particularly the steel balls sculpture in the centre of the mall which has become a popular meeting place. There are also brass sculptures of three pigs and a fountain.
Buskers can be found throughout the mall on everyday of the week.
There are several licensed bars, plenty of restaurants and coffee houses with an information centre will be found at the western end of the mall.

    Rundle Mall: Shop shop shop
This 'mall' is located along the Rundle Street. Various stores are lined up along this street. Great atmosphere. Pretty crowded with both locals and tourist ..but it's cool.

There're heaps of stores there- from music stores to various clothes shops to shoe shops to gift/souvenir shops to.... anything!

It depends, if you're planning to REALLY shop... You could spend to up to AUS$500. But i think it's average of AUS$100 - AUS$200.

Rundle Mall: Run to the Mall: Rundle Mall
Every major city in Australia has 1 street devoted to shopping therapy. Here in Adelaide, it's Rundle Mall, created in 1976 and named after John Rundle.

A concentration of tourist information booths, boutiques, departmental stores, drug stores, CD stores, shoe stores, bookstores, post office, banks, cafes and restaurants all packed down one street.

    Shopaholics: This is retail strip.

It is serviced during the week by a free City Loop Bus as well as a Bee Line Bus.

    Rundle Mall: Shoppers Paradise
Rundell Street is any keen shoppers first destination. Here you will find all major stores. There are department, jewelery, grocery, specialty shops and countless other stores here. This street stretches on for quite a while, at one end is the 'adult entertainment' section, and at the other is tonnes of cafes, restaurants, pubs and nightclubs.
The middle of Rundell St. has these bronze pigs eating out of garbage cans and other just standing around staring at the pedestrians.

Southern Australia is said to have the best opals in Australia, and there is no shortage of Opal shops in Adelaide. Shop and around and find a good deal.
Haigh's Chocolate is deemed the best in Australia and perhaps in the world. Their shop is located at the corner of Rundell and King William. Although slightly expensive, it is worth every cent.

Rundle Mall: Chic and Innovative fashion in the city
This is one of the main fashion shopping areas in Adelaide. Mixed in with the cafes, nightclubs and restaurants are the coolest-of-cool clothing boutiques for men and women. Check out Miss Gladys Sym Choons for 3 levels of shoes, street wear, ultra modern and innovative fashion and accessories, and traditional formalwear. There is a mens version of the shop next door too. Also look at Trademarks for a wide range of designer labels and Cheekee and Tu Yu for slightly cheaper clothes (in smaller sizes too). Silk Route and Blue Chili are great for jewellery and accessories.

Fashion fashion fashion on Rundle Street.

More expensive down here than most other places, but there are always bargains to be had.
