Most wineries have - besides selling wine - a small gift shop where you can buy souvenirs and also small, elegant food presents. I bought two small glass bottles of different oils for my uncle who is a semi-professional cook. He was delighted by the present and the bottles look very nice on a shelf!

What to buy: Wine, souvenirs, small food presents such as oil, spices, tea...

What to pay: If I remember correctly, I spent about 8AUD per bottle.

Tove In The Barossa Valley

High quality traditional wines made from some of the best old Barossa vineyards. The winery and cellar door sales are part of a paved courtyard surrounded by stone buildings dating back to the early settlement of Krondorf. Tasting and sales are conducted by experienced staff with extensive knowledge of the history, culture and wines of the Barossa.

What to buy: Rockford Wines:

Sparkling Red Wines
White Table Wines
Red Table Wines
Fortified Wines

Think rolling hills dotted with magestic old chalets, cellar doors with the charm of yesteryear, quaint little towns, rows and rows of vines, and of course wine, and you are in the Barossa Valley!

I love food so here's a pic of my Lamb Curry pie at the Lyndoch Bakery on the way to the Barossa Valley. I had this with Coopers Light and a glass of Kiels Shiraz.
