This is a converted winery shed that has been given a new lease on life. Inside the old Mildara/Jamiesons Run winery you will find an upmarket, well set out restaurant/cafe, wine tasting, cheese tasting, local produce market and roaring log fire. Also internet access.
Favorite Dish: They have a pie of the week and they are always really hearty and fabulous with a bottle of red. Salads, chicken, fish etc. Lots of yummy wines, and the desserts are always great.
The only bad thing is, if your waitress is the blonde with glasses you may be in for a tough time, she does not like to be very hospitable!!
They serve food all day.

This is a great restaurant at an existing winery, that has been spruced up and it is great!! As the name suggests, you are upstairs with a great balcony and super views over the vineyards.
Favorite Dish: I have had the chefs special pizza twixe and both times superb!
There is only one chicken dish at lunch, mostly meat and seafood. At tea you don't get the choice of pizza, there is no chicken dish, I had the risotto cakes which were very Thai flavoured.
The only thing that really urks me about this place is how pretentious the wording on the menu is, and is tries to be so above you by using posh words and words that the average person can not understand.
The wait staff, one in particular, go totally over board and at times obtrusive. I'm sure people from the city who are used to this wont even notice!!
The wine list has a wide choice including Hollicks own list. Great stuff!!
