Gawler What to Pack

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I really advise you to take some warm clothing. Don't think: "This is Australia and it will be hot!"
Indeed, I had some warm days while I stayed in South Australia, but when there were clouds, it got cold very fast and I was even wearing my thick fleece jacket although it was summer!

When I went to Freeling it rained a lot and I was freezing in my summer skirt - I looked very funny wearing my brown winter fleece jacket to my light pink skirt ;-) So yes, this weather can occur even in summer!

In case that you plan to visit Kingsford (Drovers Run) and other properties in the area, you should also not wear high heels or white shoes that get dirty easily. Remember that the pathways are not paved on such properties, so some flat shoes are necessary, and it is good if they are not your fanciest :-)
