Emu Ridge Is the only commercial Eucalyptus Oil Distillery left in South Australia and are totally self sufficient. generating their power by steam.
They also have an animal orphanage there, So many Kangaroos and other animals are hit by cars leaving babies behind.
they take them and keep them until they are adults and some can go back in the wild.
There was a baby Kangaroo in the gift shop when we were there. It's momma had been killed on the road.

Nope, it's not bottles _per se_ that they sell in that shop, but rather the *contents* of the bottles!

As I mentioned in my "packing list" tip, you will want to stock up on your beverage of choice. We bought a few cases of beer at the "bottle shop" before heading off to our campsite.

In the parking lot was ample evidence of the national leisure exercise--strengthening the biceps by lifting a can of ale.

Oh, and note the little reindeer antlers tied to the hood ornament, too! ('Twas Christmastime--"spirits" were high!)
