Don't think that you'll find an array of bargain shopping in Mount Gambier.
You'll find better bargains in the bigger cities and much more variety there as well.
Mount Gambier has the usual chain supermarkets, hardware stores and clothing outlets that will be able to help you out of any predicament, or the staff will point you to the right local shop that can help.

This shop is a new revolution for Mt Gambier, it is the first of its kind.
A plant nursery, coffee shop and giftware all in one!
I know every town in the world has one, but for Mt Gambier, it was a big deal. We had 2 main nurseries already, Conboys is the biggest one, but nothing that combined the joy of the outdors with a coffee, cake and shopping for beautiful homewares!!
What to buy: Apart from the great selection of plants, pots and water features, the coffee shop has yummy homemade cakes, biscuits, and during the week get some freshly made sandwiches or toasted. I know they have soup in the winter months. You need it in Mt Gambier, belive me!
What to pay: This shop is not overpriced, it is average for nursery in Mt Gambier. The giftware is especially well priced.
