Pack light

Bigger is not always better. The bigger you have the more you will pack. Remeber most of these people will only see you for two days so it's not a big deal if you wear a shirt twice in a week. bring along a sweater if you go to sydney or further south in from june-oct caus eit can get pretty cold. My first night it was 3 degrees in my tent and my sweater was a great friend tha night. if you plan to camp buy a mat to sleep on. They are cheap but they make a huge difference on your back in the morning.
