The minute you walk into this restaurant, you know that you are in for a treat! It offers four separate dining rooms..so you can always achieve that intimate feel.
Much of the food is of local origin, and of course being in the famous Barossa Valley, the wine list is extensive!
The name of the restaurant is derived from the age of the building . Its a beautifully restored building..and I would highly recommend that you visit!
The restaurant is open seven days a week.
Favorite Dish: There were many beautiful dishes on the menu..but I had the lamb rack and it was delicious! The deserts looked lovely, although I must admit I didnt have one. The menu can be viewed at the website.
This is a very upmarket restaurant on the main street of Tanunda. The atmosphere inside is cozy and romantic, but would also be appropriate for a lunch or dinner business meeting. The food is excellent which is reflected by the high prices.
Favorite Dish: I have only eaten here once, but I had a scotch steak with an amazing eggplant tapenade and mashed potatoes. The meal was unbelievably delicious and worth every cent!
