Located at the end of town, is the Venus Bay South Head walking trail. Plenty of FREE PARKING.
This trail leads along the cliffs that really are quite unstable. We could see where huge chunks had fallen into the ocean, so take heed of the sign saying to keep to the track. The walk was pretty, and we saw some caves.
We never did see any dolphins or sea eagles, and it was the wrong time of the year to spot Whales, to see them, come between May - October.
Also in this area are 100,000 year old 'clog' fossil cocoons of an ancient weevil.
An easy, enjoyable walk to do.
