This is the name of the popular bike-way that runs from Victor Harbour to Goolwa.
You need to be aware, that in Australia, Bikes and Cars share the same road, this will happen along the 30km route. Often there is a lane marked for bikes beside the lane where the cars travel. [see photo]
It's a ride that takes you along the coast where you might even see Whales in season. You visit nice towns like Goolwa, Middleton, Port Elliot and plenty of beaches along the way.
The Bikeway can be used by skateboarders and pedestrians, so be careful when approaching people, ring your bell, and REMEMBER TO WEAR A HELMET, it's illegal not to!
If you haven't your own Bike, there are plenty of places where you can hire one.
Pick up the FREE brochure from the Tourist info centre and be on your way!
why not try a camel ride when you visit Victor Harbour. It operates down near the bridge that goes to Granite Island. It does look like fun,and there is people there everytime I go to Victor Harbour..although you wont get me on them...They scare me so much!!!
