  • A great old hotel that has been totally renovated offers dining all day long... Its menu is quite extensive and reasonably priced. It was served really fresh even though it was 3.00pm and we all were served together...After a long walk around the town and Granite Island..a nice cold beer is waiting!!

    My son had Nachos...and I can tell you it was delicious.

    This bakery cafe caught my eye for its European atmosphere and some of the items on the menu which you don't always find in bakeries - more european strudels and such. I didn't buy much here though as prices were quite expensive.

    I enjoyed my cappucino here.

    Grab some fish and chips from the local fish shop and head down to the harbour and watch the activities. Its a real Aussie experience !

    The meals were tasty and a great size for the price, and the salad and vegetable bar were well stocked and "all you can eat" I think it's a restaurant kids would enjoy too, as it's a bit quirky. If you blow up the photo of the dining room, you'll see a grey structure just below the roofline - that's a little model railway train track which does a full circuit of the room, with the little train also going through a few tunnels on the way.

    Seafood dishes - as you're only a few minutes stroll from the pier.

    The Whalers Inn is the top restaurant in Victor Harbour located approx 5mins drive from Victor Harbour at the Bluff. The menu is varied and specializes in seafood with an excellent wine list.
