Mount Wellington overlooks the Capital City of Hobart. It is a lovely drive up Pinnacle Road to the top of Mount Wellington for panoramic views of Hobart - even on a cloudy day!

Salamanca Markets are held every Saturday. This is the best market I have ever seen - gifts, wood work, food, cheese, veg and fruit, clothes - it sells everything.

A small town in Tassie, lovely fish and chips.

A ramblers paradise with some great spot`s for walking and hiking up hillsides and with some breathtaking views off the top overlooking the coastline,P.S you can cheat and take a cable car.

The oldest bridge in Australia, built in 1823 Richmond Bridge is a well worth a look and has some nice flowers and also some Swans and Ducks down in the river wiating for your sandwiches.

around the beautiful Tamar River which serves the City of Launceston well. the 3rd oldest City in Australia, after Sydney and Hobart, the State Capital of Tasmania.

Take a walk to north Hobart and find a good array of restaurants, very economical, good selection of cuisines.... about 15-2o minutes walk.

A richly coloured stretch of water in the Cataract Gorge Park. The water looks very inviting, but it is deep and cold and not suitable for swimming!

A suspension bridge spans part of the Cataract Gorge. It is a for foot passengers only, and is a bit ricketyGreat views though

A chair lift takes you across the First Basin, in the Cataract Gorge Park, The lift is the longest single span chairlift in the world (so they say)
