Cherry Walk

Bright is a great place to walk. The Cherry Walk is one of my favourite ones.

Start the walk from the park at the confluence of the Ovens River and Morses Creek. The park is just east of the shops and next to the Ovens Valley Highway. There is a small weir, swimming pool, water slide and foot bridge over the Ovens River at the park. The walking track closely follows the southern river bank.

It's a beautiful walk through the bushland surrounding Bright. It takes about 1 hour if you walk at a reasonable pace. It is very easy to do with children, although pushing a pram won't be possible. We carried our 1 year old daughter in a baby backpack.

I got a BIG one!

Fishing at the trout farm. Its easy and sure way of catching a fish or two. The rod & bait is provided and you just pay for what you catch. Take it away and put it on the BBQ!!

Beware: you end up with too many fish if you have kids - everyone wants to have a go and everyone catches atleast one!
