If you stray off into the forest, and i can`t reccomend it as there are all sorts of nasties out there, then you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of one of these, a Koala bear. This one was a lot larger than we had seen on the television and had a fair bit of grey in his coat, we found him sitting in the middle of the road making a strange noise like a bark, i killed the engine and coasted slowly towards him, unfortunately the brakes were servo assisted and i only just managed to avoid parking on him.
Steff grabbed a few pictures before he dissapeared into the bush, we weren`t going to follow him - the night before i had almost stepped on a brown snake and that could have put a serious crimp in our holiday plans.
