Benders Buses are a Geelong name, widely known and recognized all over Geelong.
In Corio and Norlane you can generally catch a bus every 20 minutes to half an hour. We have two major bus routes - Melbourne Road or Thompson's Road.
Both the major bus routes can be caught from or near Corio Shopping Centre.
We live close to Purnell Road so we can catch a bus in Purnell Road every half an hour, and likewise we can get a bus to Purnell Road from Geelong every half an hour. My daughter attends a high school in Geelong North so she heads off to Purnell Road every morning to catch her bus.
The buses are clean and tidy. School peak times can be hard as you will find at 3.30 pm to about 4.30 pm the buses from the city are quite full with lots of school children on them.
The photos in this tip show Bender's buses dropping children off to Norlane Waterworld. Local primary schools hire the buses to transport the children to and from Norlane Waterworld for swimming lessons. Geelong is a water smart, sun smart city!
