Daylesford has at least 2 pubs which feature live bands on a Friday or Saturday night, including the Palais and the Old Hepburn Hotel. These will usually be advertised on a banner outside or a flyer beside the door, and on the 'What's on' board at the Daylesford Visitor Information Centre, Vincent Street.
Dress Code: Neat casual mainly, but no thong (flip flop) sandals or singlets.

The Palais is a popular venue for Daylesford/Hepburn Springs.
On Saturday nights it often features well known national acts - singers such as Paul Kelly and Jenny Morris have performed in 2005, and on Friday nights there are often varying up and coming artists.
Saturday nights are usually a dinner and show package (though you can just opt for the show if you wish).
Well worth checking out their gig guide to see who's playing... it can be a surprise to see some big names listed, considering it's a fairly small town. Shows how popular this place has become.

The Palais is a 1930's building decorated with lush velvets and antiques. For all that it is not pretentious and a great cross-section of people party there. It has consistent fun live music, mostly dance bands but in keeping with its eclecticism, they have a range of styles playing there.
