Luggage and bags: Travel light, it's all casual here so you don't need to bring heaps of clothes.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Always put in a jumper or warm jacket, even in Summer it can turn cool of a night.
Good walking shoes.
If you go out for the evening to one of the restaurants you can get *dressed up* if you wish, but it's mainly neat casual.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Summer= Sunblock
Photo Equipment: Camera of course......
You can buy batteries here at the local supermarket or chemist.

Luggage and bags: Bring luggage that's easy to carry on and off buses if that's the way you're travelling - so maybe backpacks.
If arriving by car, you can choose what kind of luggage to bring.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Daylesford is a little cooler than the surrounding area due to its higher elevation, but even in winter it only goes below 0 on frosty mornings, and days are a minimum of about 10 degrees. Summer days are nice. You don't really need to bring anything special by way of weather gear.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: You can purchase these in town but it's cheaper to buy them in a larger town before you get here.
Photo Equipment: You can purchase film here, but again, cheaper to buy it in a department store than in this town.
Miscellaneous: If you're planning on trying the mineral water, don't forget to bring plenty of plastic bottles. It's all free!
