EL DORADO
..One thing the name here conjures up ,and that is the wild west!!..EL Dorado, .hot and dry with dust and tumbleweed blowing around..and you know what , it is not far from the truth. When I stopped by this small isolated town it was really hot and dry with dust everywhere. The main attraction is the huge gold dredge that it here and to walk around the lake at this huge mecanical monster...make sure that when you are "out and about" here that you have lots of fresh bottled water with you..The day was a really hot day and the sun really unforgiving..real inland heat...always constantly try and replace lost fluids as dehydration here is a health hazard and make sure that you are drinking plenty of water. The most dangerous thing in "outback" Australia is to be caught without water.Always wear a wide brimmed hat and a pair of sunglasses when in the sun.
