This place is a hidden gem in an unlikely suburban location. Harry's cafe is set in the McLelland Art Gallery & Sculpture Garden. It's a picturesque and uncrowded setting overlooking the gardens and large pond. The building will appeal to admirers of modernist architecture.
My husband and I bring all our overseas visitors here in order to show Frankston in its very best light. McClelland Gallery + Sculpture Park is set on eight hectares of landscaped bushland. The park is a mixture of developed garden galleries, wild bushland, open grassed areas, lakes and sculpture trails.
We drop into see the exhibits every couple of months, and visit the Cafe to sit and enjoy a very good coffee and cake, or a light lunch and glass of wine.
The gallery exhibitions change regularly. Amazingly, admission to the art gallery and gardens is still by donation. The shop has great art books and well chosen jewelry and other items made by local artists.
Favorite Dish: They only do lunch and morning or afternoon tea here (no dinner unless privately booked for an event).
We like the coffee and a lemon tart (lemony with a bite to it). The wines by the glass are always well chosen and enjoyable.
For lunch we've had everything on the menu and liked it all. It is all very light with fresh greens and delicate dressings, with fusion influences in the preparation.

This place is one of my favourite in the world and it has been since 1991! With great coffee and milkshakes, some of the friendliest staff you will ever meet, Grace's, as we call it, is a place you will wish was just around the corner from where you live (it used to be for me ~sniff~) You can get lunch or just a light snack if you prefer
They also sell products like tea and coffee in packets, biscuits etc. The owner, Grace, is Greek or Italian I think, and she also has packaged foods from there.

Well I have to say that 'The Best legs in town' are indeed amazing! Not only do they do all sorts of chicken but the chips are to die for!
it's something to do with the salt or herbs they put in the covering for the chips. You can have regular salt and vinegar or the special salt/herb coating. Trust me, you won't want regular salt!
If you can get there or you are in Frankston, get the chips from this place.
Favorite Dish: Chips !
