The Polish/Australian community.. in their lovely traditional costumes.
Many of these people have special schools operating, in the hope that their children will not forget their heritage, language and culture. These classes usually take place once a week, for a couple of hours.
Pako festival recently celebrated it's 21st Birthday.
This is a multicultural festival, where many people from many different nations get together, and celebrate with Great Food, Fine Wine, and Fantastic Music...
All this, in many different languages, cultures, and styles.

I was shopping for more film, (pre digital days) and almost missed these beautiful ladies, in their traditional costumes. Unfortunately, I can't even tell you which nation they represent
And now.. The world famous Aussie Roo Band... These guys sure know how to belt out a-tune.. they will be great once they learn how to stay in-tune.. (kidding) they were great! ;-)
Aparently the Roman Empire is still alive and kicking, and here is a photo to prove it.. Sure makes for a handsome addition to the Parade.
Hungarian/Australians.. in their national costumes. Always very colourful, and eager to contribute in every way they can.
Geelong has a large Italian/Australian community. It is because of this that we can enjoy the wonderful resturants, cafe's, food stores, and so many other things, that this community contribute.
