First of all, the building that Pancakesat 48 is located in seems as old as Geelong itself (and probably is), it has a feeling of 'pioneer' surrounding it. It has stained glass windows and mahogany chairs and tables that create a feeling of warmth and of being relaxed whilst inside the restaurant. They serve pancakes in almost every fashion, with strawberry's or chocolate, with hot chocolate fudge or just with maple syrup and ice-cream. You can also have bacon and eggs on sordough bread, there are plenty of mouthwatering options to choose from. Plus they have a large variety of drinks; from soft drinks, to milkshakes, hot chocolate, spiders...
A chocolate milkshake with a 'double' (2 large and thick pancakes), with a scoop of ice-cream and then drowning it in maple syrup. Maybe not very adventurous pancake-wise, but old-favourites are labeled as such for a reason. :) Leave a Comment Theme: OtherComparison: about averageAddress: 48 Moorabool St.Phone: 5229 7888Directions: Close to the Waterfront end of Moorabool St., 2 doors up from the National Wool Museum.
