Favorite thing: RIALTO TOWERS. The Melbourne Observation Deck is located 253 metres above the city on the 55th floor of the landmark Rialto Towers, the tallest office building in the Southern Hemisphere. The Observation Deck offers spectacular 360-degree views of Melbourne and surrounds from large internal and external viewing areas. The Melbourne Observation Deck is situated on the corner of Collins and King Street in the heart of the CBD. It is easily accessed by public transport on the Collins Street tramline and is only a short walk from Melbourne's two major train stations, Spencer and Flinders stations. It costs AUD10.50 per person adult ticket to go up to the Observation Deck.

Fondest memory: Elevators travel 55 floors in 38 seconds to ferry passengers to the top of the Rialto to the observation deck, where visitors can enjoy sweeping views for 60kms (on a very clear day) in each direction, taking in the Great Dividing Range to the north, Mornington Peninsula to the south, the Dandenongs to the east and the Yoo Yangs to the west. The Rialto Towers (253m/830ft) is ranked 15th in the World Federation of Great Towers. The number one spot was held by The CN Tower, Toronto Canada (553m/1815ft).
