It comes around quickly enough, now March '07. Once again we savour the fumes, noise and the feeling atmosphere of the previous one ! The Formula 1 Grand Prix season begins here in Melbourne. For weeks beforehand the Albert Park Lake circuit is busily being prepared for the opener.
The weather is usually lovely, fairly mild, and the excitement builds up.
Watch this space for updates.
It won't be the same without Schuie.
Look at my pictures but I will take the liberty of linking to another Melboune VT'er,
'jeffmartinartist'.

It is my 2nd time to watch the formula 1 in Australia this year. 2004 was a better F1 experience that I had this year, 2006. It was probably of the commonwealth games which distracted much attention for the f1 fans. i didn't see many pit babes like what I saw 2004, although I saw many formula 1 drivers because I was able to access the paddock area.

Every year motor sport fans turns their eyes to Melbourne in March. The first GP of the year are held in lovely surrounding in Albert Park. The road around the lake was used as an international motor-racing circuit in the 1950s and since 1996 the revamped track has been the venue for Australian Formula One GP race. To make the thrill even better you actually can drive very same circuit before and after the race in your own car.

If you are there in early March and you are a bit of a revv head, go to the F1 Grand Prix.
It is loud! Very fast cars and extremely talented drivers. Lots of things to see and do, food to eat, beer to drink etc. Bring an umbrella and/sun cream!
