Night water skiing

Melbourne's Moomba Festival is held every March, so if you are in town for the Formula 1 Grand Prix why not check it out. It is located along the Yarra River adjacent to Federation Square.

There are parades, rides, fireworks, live-music and films for the kids (Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo).

An International Waterski Championships is also held on the Yarra as part of the festival.

Moomba Festival is a 4 day event celebrated in March. It's a family friendly festival with lots of fun for parents and kids. Admission is free and attendance is huge. Water skiing along Yarra river is one of the major event as well as beach volley tournament. The fun park area is full of attractions and games. The food area offers many options. We were so lucky to catch Moomba Festival when we arrived in Melbourne. The festival ends with a remarkable fireworks show not to be missed.

Moomba Parade, Melbourne

Moomba festival is celebrated every year during March. They used to conduct lot of programs/cultural activities during this period. One day they have a parade which performs along the Swanston Street. And another day during the night they display fireworks in the Yara River.
