St Kilda beach by aukahkay St Kilda beach is lovely place with a beautiful beach located a short distance from the city. There are many bars, cafes and restaurants and an amusement park, Luna Park. Luna Park is one of the symbols of St Kilda, in fact, it is one of the main attractions in Melbourne. This amusement park has been open since the early 1910's and even with its recent multi-million dollar refurbishment, its old charm has not been lost. There are plenty of roller coasters and rides that are adrenaline pumping. Leave a Comment Address: St Kilda RoadDirections: South of Melbourne city

Hairdresser in St Kilda by mvtouring St Kilda is not to be missed and it offers fun ways to spend your Saturday afternoons. The best place to go and have a cuppa with your friends while checking out the people if you do not go and do the Samba down the road on the grass patch near the kiddies fun-park. Some great restaurants on Fitzroy St offers you great opportunies to try new salads and Australian wines. Where else can you go and see ıLittle Bo Peepı with her biker boyfriend? Leave a Comment

Luna Park by yellowbell Take in the seaside breeze in the outdoor cafes, get mesmerized by fire-eating street acrobats and jugglers, dip in the sea salt swimming pools, trace the outline of boats during sundown at Port Philip Bay, and enjoy the rides in the mini theme park. You will not miss the smiling moon face greeting you at the entrance of Luna park (luna, lunar, moon, ok, I get it). Entrance is free so just wander around if you don't fancy the rides. Admire the handpainted chariots of the carousel which dates back to 1920s. Spend your weekends at St. Kilda as this is when the locals peddle some souvenir items. Leave a Comment Directions: Any tram with St Kilda beach displayed or number 96 from Bourke Street, 15 and 16 on Swanston Street or number 12 on Collins StreetWebsite: http://www.lunapark.com.au/index.html

Cafe rooftop, Acland Street, St Kilda by amyhenderson The main attractions of St Kilda are Acland Street, St Kilda Rd, the promenade & beach, the weekend markets & Luna Park. I'm an avid people-watcher and enjoy the weekend markets held every Sunday. You can slowly make your way through the stalls of jewellery, crafts, homewares, food & clothing starting at the bottom of St Kilda Road and around to Acland Street. Acland Street is reknown for the beautiful french patisseries and the window displays are captivating (and enticing)! There are some great cafes on Acland Street to sit in the window and watch the passing parade. I went to go to Luna Park but it was school holidays at the time and swamped with kids, queues and chaos. I also noticed that it was fairly expensive. Around $6-$10 for one ride. Not cheap. St Kilda Rd is reknown to attract the more undesirable types, especially at night time. However, over the years it has really been cleaned up and now it's just a melting pot of interesting characters. An array of great, relaxed, stylish bars exist on St Kilda Rd. See nightlife for more details. Leave a Comment Address: St Kilda Rd, Acland Street, St Kilda .Directions: Catch 10min light rail or 15min tram from Spencer St Station

On aHarley by mvtouring This was one of the best things I did. Exploring St Kilda area on a Harley. I was so excited, could not wait for Dave to pull off so that I could get that wind in my face and see what was happening in this vibrant place Leave a Comment
