-Why travel thousands of kilometres when a taste of African adventure is at your doorstep. Only 30 minutes from Melbourne, Werribee Open Range Zoo is full of amazing animals living in a wide, open savannah. Discover grazing rhinos, giraffes and zebras, see cheeky monkeys and cheetahs at play and get close to a pride of lions. You can even meet a family of hippos in the new Kubu River Hippos Experience.
-An exciting opportunity to encounter a pride of African Lions behind the scenes.

Apart from the Werribee Zoo, you can visit this Werribee Mansion. The mansion surrounded with lot of tall trees and in front of the mansion there is beautiful lawn ground (football field size). They have a beautiful rose garden also. The mansion is attached to a SPA, where you can relax yourself.

The conduct Ghost Buster tour on every weekend. Check with them for the exact date and timings.

This is a realy old, huge, beautiful mansion with spectacular gardens. Lots of people get married here, including my uncle. Some of the inside is modernised for receptions etc, and some is unchanged from when it was built.

Go to the Werribee Park Open Range Zoo

- we took a special 'Photographic Safari' which meant we were sitting on the back of the ute and we could tell our driver where exactly to go and we could get a lot closer to the animals than the tour bus. It cost $56.40 and included a lovely picnic morning tea of muffins and coffee!! Well worth the extra fee if you are into animals like I am!
This is a large chunk of land dedicated to the keeping of animals from all around the world. It is much like Monato Zoo in Adelaide, but with much more!
They have giraffe, hippos, rhinos, zeberas and lots of other little ones!
