Look out over the Brewery while you sip a round or five in the bar of the The Grand Ridge Brewery. Full range of very drinkable beer varieties available to try on site or take away.
As well as on site tasting of individual brews or the complete range, there is a large restaurant , ideal for lunch on your excursion. I have not eaten there so no rating but I enjoyed the tasting of the full range of liquid products after throwing the car keys to the navigator.

Mirboo North is near the middle of the road that winds along the Strzelecki Ranges, named after an amazing man of Polish descent of whom I'll explain more further down. It's significant that these big hills are not part of the Great Dividing Range that runs for thousands of kilometres down the eastern coast through three states. They are a stand alone range, not only in geographical terms but in splendid vistas.
This shot is indicative of what you can expect in the area and, I loved it so much that for a time I used it as my screen display.

The Grand Ridge Road has an eastern and western component. A town is in the middle. This town is Mirboo North, a town that is drifting along without really going anywhere significant. There are facilities for tourists and caravans and motorhomes are welcome, some parking in the area next to the public toilets and some out near the cemetery, as I did.
