The township of Glenrowan is very small, located about 50 kms west of Mt Buffalo. You'll have to go past it anyway, so why not stop and take a look?
Glenrowan is famous as being the site of Bushranger Ned Kelly's last stand, so if you've seen the movie or are interested in the history and life of Ned, there's a sound and light tourist attraction here that would interest you (it's well done, but aimed a bit more towards kids).
