As I wandered down the main street of Port Fairy, I noticed a rather more wide selection of shopping options than I was expecting in a small town....the 5 cafes and 2 bakeries were expected, but there were also at least 3 book shops, almost all in a row.
What to buy: Pictured here is a window that caught my attention. Note the small item depicting Ned Kelly, Australian history's most famous bushranger! I'd never seen one of those before.
This is the other window of the shop with the Ned Kelly, and it struck me as being a bit Provencale, with the blue and white crockery, and lavender on display, as well as the other items.
