Everyone in Melbourne know...Rex Hunt's Fish and Chips is the place to go for the best in the area.
If you're looking for a great place to go and hang out for an afternoon...take the 109 tram down the end...and the Restaurant is right there.
They have a few tables outside...or grab a bench along the bay...or bring a blanket and hang on the beach.
Favorite Dish: Obviously the fish of the day and chips are the best....
but the chip servings are huge...1 serving can feed 2 people...

The restaurant is waterfront on Port Phillips Bay, with a great place to eat...and a nice place to chill for drinks.
It's one of the nicer restaurants in the area, and the food and wine is spectacular...it's definitely a place to relax and enjoy on a nice, sunny day....
and if it's cold..there's a fireplace to keep you warm...
There's even a take-away menu, if you don't have time to stop.
Favorite Dish: our favorite dish is the Seafood Platter for 2...$120AUD Especially when it's a sunny day...and you're sitting on the patio on the water...with a bottle of wine...it doesn't get any better...
or for a cheap way to go...they have huge rocket salads...$8AUD and some of the best oysters and entrees...

This is one of 3 restaurants on Station Pier, and it is the least expensive of the 3...but not lacking in flavor or ambience.
There's a take-away area and also seating on the patio or inside. In the winter, they have heat lamps.
The wine here is excellent...and the food is typical Italian fare. But the desserts? incredible! When you walk into the restaurant...they have a display of all their different pies, cakes, etc...but Don't miss out on the Donuts....
Favorite Dish: The donuts are worth saving room for splurging...

THE FOOD IS AMAZING! WE TRIED A BIT OF EVERYTHING FROM THEIR SMALL DISH MENU.
RELAX ON THE LOUNGE TO A VERY WARM AMBIANCE WITH A LATIN TWIST IN MUSIC WHILE SIPPING ON A MARTINI OR COCKTAIL.
GREAT PLACE TO BRING YOUR GIRL OR GUY!
Favorite Dish: THE WHOLE BONED SPATCHCOCK, FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW WHAT A SPATCHCOCK IS, ITS A BABY CHICKEN.
ANYWAY THIS MEAL IS SUPURB! VERY TENDER AND TASTY YOU WONT LEAVE ANYTHING ON THE PLATE.
