Thing which I liked most in Rosebud was a very long wooden pier. In addition to walking on the pier I watched how fishermen tried to catch a fish and because Rosebuds waterfront doesn't go deep fast I often started my swimming trips from the pier.
If you are lucky you can see different kind of sea life like rays while walking.

Natural mineral water is as soft as water can be and it offer absolute relaxation. Public pools with temperature range between 38 and 43 degrees is enough if you are about to stay few hours. But when staying a day you can also get different kind of treatments or package deals.
Twilight spa is worth experiencing and it’s even few bucks cheaper. I recommend!

When you are visiting Mornington Peninsula wineries is must on your to do list. But now you can get also local beer from Red Hill Brewery. It was nice surprise because brewery didn’t exist when I last time visited Rosebud. Anyway, feeling was cosy because of European influenced ales. My favorite was a wheat beer.

Cape Schanck Lighthouse on Ocean side of peninsula has served ships from 1859. Lighthouse and its museum is open daily. From the Cape Schanck Lighthouse starts 6 kilometers long Bushrangers Bay Walk which finishes on parking lot on Boneo Road. If you don't want to have a walk just explore the cavities that sea has created to the rocks on the beach.

Hill which rises above the Mornington Peninsula, Arhur's seat, gives nice landscape of Port Phillip Bay. If the weather is good enough, you can see skyscrapers of Melbourne. There are many possible places to view the Bay. The way up to the hill, which starts from Dromana's tourist information center, has couple of places where you can stop the car. But if you want to look beautiful views a little longer I recommend Arthur’s Seat’s state park.
In Arthur’s Seat State Park you can also explore Australian wildlife. I saw my first Kookaburras here.

Beach of Rosebud is very kid friendly. I used to explore seabed with my nephew and niece. Sun in Australia is very dangerous especially when you are swimming so at least kids should wear long armed swimming suits. But when you really want to swim use pier!
