The Hume Weir has been a favorite with people for many years. I visited here as a child, and since then, and it still has that same appeal for me.
There are many picnic and camping sites on the shores of the Lake and sandy beaches for sunbathing.
Fishing is also a popular pastime, as is sailing, jet skiing and wind surfing.

Rutherglen, which is only a short drive from Wodonga, has many wineries in the region. These are always fun to visit, and maybe buy a couple of bottles of your favorite, to take home with you.. after you have tasted at least a few. LOL.. Of course, it would be wise to designate a driver for this activity.

Sumsion Gardens has a lovely lake, walking paths, picnic facilities, barbecues, and a children's playground. A wonderful place for a family outing, where you can enjoy a good part of the day.

Wodonga, like most towns and cities have weekend markets, some have more than one.
This is a large market with trash & treasure, produce, clothing, crafts and general goods. An excellent place to find that one of a kind item.
