In Summer temperatures are quite pleasant most of the time but can get quite high at times. There is a reprieve from the fresh southerly winds when they blow that way. In winter, the town has quite a large amount of rainfall from the cold fronts which cross the coast here but the temperatures in winter time can actually be warmer than Perth
