The Leschenault Waterways Discovery Centre is an interpretive centre with shady spots to escape the sun and free BBQ facilities to enjoy a meal close to the nearby estuary.

The Leschenault Inlet is an estuarine lagoon that lies to the north of Bunbury. The fresh water Collie and Preston Rivers flow into the estuary.
It is a very popular fishing area for locals but it is quite shallow and suitable only for small boats.
In season, many people wade into the water with scoop nets to catch the famed "Blue Manna" crabs which are prized for their sweet flesh.

When I returned to complete the task of finding the "old" building for the TheWanderingCamel I thought that I had better search around to see if there were any more dedicated to St Nicholas.
Lo and behold I did find another. This is the Op Shop which sells low priced clothing and some household goods which have been given to charity by better off Aussies.
Not all families down under are enjoying a comfortable lifestyle and many are struggling to provide for their families. This is where the Op Shop comes in to help provide some basic necessities at affordable prices.
It is for the St Nicholas project which is compiling a gazeteer of photos of all the churches and buildings dedicated to the saint around the world.

Ross River virus is quite common to some parts of Australia and was named following the isolation of an arbovirus from mosquitoes trapped beside Ross River near Townsville in Queensland.
Studies have shown that between 20% and 60% victims of the Ross River virus experience fever and arthritic symptoms. These may be joint pains and the appearance of a rash.
Patients can typically expect to recover within a month after the onset of these symptoms.
Use a good quality insect repellant and wear long sleeve shirts to minimise the risk of mosquito bites.

After sending photos of the St Nicholas Parish Church, TheWanderingCamel asked what happened to the "old" building. I said "oh... that one?" and off I went again to Australind to complete the task.

It is located next door to the St Nicholas Parish Church, opposite the main shopping centre in Australind.
