Luggage and bags: a good sized bag to take with you down to the beach - big enough for your beach towel, swim wear and a couple of books!
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring trousers and jumpers with you in case the weather isnt that good. We went in October and i wasnt expecting it to be that windy and cold and silly me only took one pair of trousers so i had to buy some! However, there were lots of clothing shops around in Freo so if you do need anything, there is a huge choice of where to go!
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: You will need suncream, even if the sun isnt shining all the time! I managed to get burnt!

A: Walked past it yesterday, looks good but did not check price. As holiday season in Perth including school holidays I would expect it to be operating by 9am.
