Sandrino's is a great place for a meal especially on warm days and nights were you can take advantage of their outside area. The ambience is very relaxed, comfortable and can be noisey in that nice way where everyone is talking at once not loud music. The wait staff here I think are made up of back packers and at times could do with lessons in smiling!!! however the service is good the menu is excellent the food is fantastic and good value for money. We have taken several overseas guests here and they have all enjoyed the evening. I advise to make a booking we tried to book for a Tuesday night and couldnt get a booking!!
Favorite Dish: There is loads of choice to cater for all fussy eaters pizza, rissoto, steaks, pastas the list goes on. The pizza kitchen is a large open area at the back of the restaurant and the guys are kept busy. Chilli mussels are a speciality. There is an ok wine list but it is also byo (bring your own) which is pretty common here n Australia with a $4 corkage on each bottle still makes it good value.

We visited on a Sat night and could only get a booking for 6.30pm given we only booked on Thurs we were lucky to get a booking. We were shown to our table straight away and given wine & food munus to browse we were also given iced water. We ordered a garlic bread to nibble while we browsed the menu we also ordered wine by the glass @ $7.50 they have a good beverage list including wine, cocktails & spirits. We ordered an entree which was bought to the table within about 10 mins. We had ordered our main meal at the same time as our entree. We requested our mains be held so we could enjoy our meal chat etc but that was also served pretty promptly after they removed our entree plates. We were then given the dessert list and ordered a tasting platter requesting it be held for about 20 mins expecting and hoping in a restaurant that was so busy it could easily turn into a 30 min wait. However it was served within the 20 mins. The food service ambience value for money is good but we felt rushed more like a cafe stayle than a restaurant of this calibre. We were in for 6.30 and out by 8.15. We had been hoping for a more relaxed intimate evening and after spending $170 for 2 we felt a bit like we had been through a car wash. Service was excellent food was good. We will revisit and hope it will be at a more leisurely pace. We noticed other diners who came at approx the same time as us some had left and some were leaving at the same time as us.
Favorite Dish: I enjoyed the catch of the day which was Wild Barramindi with lemon sauce, wilted spinach & potato stack it was delicious, I also had the Tasmanian Salmon as an entree which was also delicious ( I always enjoy a fish dish when I eat out & given I couldnt choose between them I had both!!). My husband chose a steak which he said was lovely except for the over powering gravy/sauce. We also chose a serve of season vegetables which were well cooked carrots, brocolli, cauliflower and peppers. The tasting plate we chose for dessert has a little of everything and I think we voted the Passionfruit Brulee & Icky sticky pudding the best. The garlic bread was the same as you get at any restaurant anywhere nothing special.

The restaurant is cosy and off the main stream of the Cappuccino Strip. The décor is very Greek with murals on the walls. Tuesday night they have a really good deal with cheap pasta and pizza. Generally good food although on my second trip back to Caesars however, one of our seafood meals was undercooked.
They are open Tuesdays to Sundays. They serve lunch from 11.30am to 2.30pm and dinner from 5.00pm to 10.00pm.

This Italian restaurant has been in business since 1978 and is very popular. Bookings are essential especially on Friday or Saturday nights. Don’t think you can be late either otherwise you will loose your table and have to join the queue. Its noisy and busy but the food is good. They have do a wood fired pizza and all their sauces are their own. If you are a fan of Tiramisu, then that is also on the menu along with gelato of course.

Char Char Bull is an award winning restaurant on the Fishing Boat Harbour specialising in char grilled prime beef. The steaks cuts have been specially selected from year old Murray Grey beef from the Avon Valley which is inland from Perth.
They also do wood fired gourmet pizzas and local seafoods such as fresh fish, prawns, oysters and mussels.
The restaurant is licensed with a good selection of local beers and wines.
Char Char Bull is open 7 days a week for both lunch and dinner.
There is also a cocktail lounge with comfy sofas to enjoy a pre-dinner drink or two.
Sorry folks... there aren't any pictures here because yours truly forgot to take his camera!
Favorite Dish: I thoroughly enjoyed a garlic, rosemary & sea salt pizza for an entree and the Char Char 500 grams Rib Eye steak cooked rare with a rosemary jus as the main course.

The E Shed Markets are located in an historical warehouse right on the Victoria Quay Wharf near the CBD. Here you can eat indoors or on the alfresco terrace overlooking Fremantle harbour.
Here also you can enjoy inexpensive but tasty meals at the food court with a range of stalls selling Indian, Chinese, Japanese, kebabs, a carvery or traditional Aussie fare.
Hot crepes, ice creams or freshly squeezed fruit juices are available from the "Juice Bar".

A great restaurant, right on the Swan River. Get a table by the window if you can. The meal was great. We had a selection of Thai Green Curry (seafood), steak and Tuna steak. Everything was well cooked and superb. On the down side. Parking is horrendous when it is busy. With the Left Bank (bar/restaurant) up the road and little parking on the foreshore, trying to find a park is dreadful. Go early if you can.
Fully Licensed. Ther eis a 10% surcharge on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays which I thought was a bit steep.

A small restaurant located in a small shopping centre on Petra Street. The food was reasonably good, not big portions, maybe a little high on price given the surroundings. We were left to find our own table when we arrived, it was pointed out to us. The service was fairly good, nothing exceptional. Nice enough but not enough to recommend or want to go back.

This is the place to be on Sunday afternoons. The Zydecats play world-class cajun zydeco music FOR FREE while a crowd of happy locals dance away the afternoon/evening. These guys are great and their sets are always uplifting and fun!
Clancy's has great beer (and cider) on tap and serves up some of the best seafood in Perth...all very reasonably priced. Don't miss the seafood platter...but don't try to finish it off alone...it's HUGE!
There's always a happy, friendly vibe, so bring the kids if you like.

This would have to have one of the best settings for a seafood restaurant it's set out over the water at the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour. You dine on seafood while looking at the boats that probably caught the fish only hours before it is served . The setting inside is like a step back in time rough wooden floors the front counter is half a car. Laminex tables & metal chairs.
Favorite Dish: Have to say I love their seafood chowder. Be warned all meals are large so go hungry, of course they do the best fish & chips.

Q: I'm curious to know if anybody knows the opening times and costs of the wheel? Thanks

A: Walked past it yesterday, looks good but did not check price. As holiday season in Perth including school holidays I would expect it to be operating by 9am.
